Dear scifiknitter

It's a pleasure to meet you today and to write to you this proposition which I hope that we will receive your attention and interest.

I am Barr. Riwa Offorkanzi a legal practioner and Private attorney to Late Mr. Ander scifiknitter, who used to work with Société Nationale de Commercialisation des Produits Pétroliers (SONACOP) Oil Company in Benin Republic West Africa,Here in after shall be Referred to as my Client. On the December 2003, my Client, His wife and their Children were involved in a Plane Crash accident that took place in Cotonou Airport (Visit this site for more details http://www.cnn.com/2003/WORLD/africa/12/26/benin..crash/). All occupants unfortunately lost their lives, my client and his family was one of them. Since the death of this customer who was an oil merchant/contractor, Since then I have made several enquiries to locate any of my clients extended relatives but all efforts was just in vain.

After these several unsuccessful attempts, I decided to track His last name over the Internet, to locate any member of his Family hence I contacted you. I have contacted you to assist in repatriating the money left behind by my Client with CONTINENTAL BANK OF BENIN before they get confiscated or declared unserviceable by the Continental Bank Republic West Africa..These huge deposits were lodged particularly with the "Continental Bank Benin" where the Deceased had an account valued at about $19.5 million dollars (Ninetheen Million Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars). The Bank has issued me a notice to provide the next of kin or have the account confiscated. Since I have been unsuccessful in Locating the relatives for over 3 years.

Based on the reason that nobody has come forward to claim the deposit as next of kin, Now I seek your consent to present you as the next of kin of the deceased since you have the same last name so that the proceeds of this account valued at $19.5 million dollars will be paid to you and you will be entitle to 30%.I will procure all Necessary legal documents that can be used to back up any claim we may make .All I require is your honest cooperation to enable us seeing this Deal through.

I guarantee that this will be executed under a legitimate arrangement that will protect you from any breach of the law, but you must also agree not to disclose or pass any information related to this business to any body for security reason and to avoid eye brow , And we are going to achieve this , therefore i want you to send your direct telephone numbers , full names and address number to fcilitate communication.

Your country of origin does not matter in the claim since both of you bears same last name.

I await your Call Asap after replying.

I remain respectfully yours,

Barr. Riwa Offorkanzi

Wow - it's from France! Could it be real?

What really tickles me is the name - scifiknitter. I have decided that choosing this particular nom de plume is probably one of the most original things I have ever done. Just last night I signed up for a membership at another viral website, and once again scifiknitter was available. I've never been told that someone else is already using the name.

Obviously, though, I have overused it, and it is slipping into the internet-at-large. I fear a barrage of spam is in the offing.
